Privacy Policy
GaadiSure is being built around consent, masking, source transparency, guest garage controls, and data deletion. We do not claim to be a government website, and vehicle information may depend on provider or official-source availability.
What we collect
When you check a vehicle, we may process the vehicle registration number you enter, provider lookup status, masked vehicle details, source coverage signals, challan summary signals, and timestamps such as when GaadiSure checked the available source.
Where provider data includes sensitive vehicle-linked fields, those fields are kept server-side or masked where applicable. Public pages should not display raw RC number, owner name, father name, address, mobile number, chassis number, engine number, insurance policy number, PUCC number, provider client ID, accused name, internal hashes, tokens, database credentials, or raw cookie values.
Guest Garage cookie
Guest Garage uses an opaque browser cookie to remember vehicles saved in the same guest session. The raw cookie value is not shown on the website and should not be placed in URLs, frontend storage, logs, or public API responses.
On the server, GaadiSure uses a protected hash of that cookie to scope the guest garage. This helps keep one guest garage separate from another guest garage.
How Guest Garage controls work
- Remove vehicle: removes one selected vehicle from the current guest garage.
- Clear garage: removes all vehicles linked to the current guest garage cookie and clears the guest garage cookie.
- These controls are scoped to the current guest session. They do not require the browser to send raw RC, rc_hash, guest garage hash, or database vehicle ID in the request.
Why we use providers
Vehicle, challan, insurance, PUCC, finance, blacklist, and compliance information may come from third-party providers or official-source flows where available. Source coverage can vary by state, backend, and provider response. GaadiSure should show source and freshness signals where available and should not promise all-India or real-time coverage unless it is verified.
Your data controls
You can use the Guest Garage controls to remove a saved vehicle or clear the current guest garage. You can also request deletion, correction, or support through the data deletion and grievance pages.
